Peter Egeli is the eldest child of Bjorn and Lois Egeli, and is, like his father, a successful portrait and marine painter and a wooden boatbuilding enthusiast. His portrait subjects have included many notable leaders of government, major corporations and private institutions. Peter is also a well-known marine painter and has exhibited in museums throughout the U.S. for more than 30 years. He is a Past President and Fellow of the American Society of Marine Artists and continues to paint scenes inspired by his knowledge and love of the sea and his heritage of maritime living.

Peter and his wife maintain a studio at their home on the bank of the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
